Using this site

By using harborlinemutual.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may change these terms from time to time, and the date above says when they last changed.

Information, not a contract

The descriptions of coverage on this site are summaries to help you understand our insurance. They are not a policy and they do not change one. What is covered, and for how much, is decided by the policy you buy, including its declarations page, endorsements and exclusions. If anything here differs from your policy, your policy is what counts.

Coverage is available only in California and Arizona, and every policy is subject to our underwriting rules. A quote is an estimate based on what you tell us. It is not a promise to insure you, and the price can change once we verify the details.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what is done in your account until you tell us. We may suspend an account we believe is being misused.

Reporting a claim online

Reporting a claim through this site starts the claim. It is not a decision on whether the loss is covered or how much will be paid. An adjuster will contact you about that. Please give us information that is true and complete; knowingly making a false or misleading claim is a crime in both states.

What you may not do

• Use the site for anything unlawful, or to submit information about someone else without their permission.
• Try to get into parts of the site or our systems that you are not authorized to use.
• Interfere with the site, for example by overloading it or introducing malicious code.
• Copy large parts of the site, or use automated tools to collect information from it, without our written permission.

Our content

The text, photographs, logos and design of this site belong to Harborline Mutual or are used with permission. You may print or save pages for your own personal use. The Harborline name and mark are ours and may not be used without our permission.

Links to other sites

Where we link to another website, we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or how they handle your information.

Availability

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be either. If the site is down and you need to report a claim, call (619) 555-0148 at any hour.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Harborline is not responsible for losses that come from using or being unable to use this website. This does not limit anything we owe you under an insurance policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, except where the law of Arizona applies to an Arizona resident.
